The 2012-2013 Council #12423 Scholarship for Catholic Education applications are now available! Last year, Council #12423 awarded two $250 scholarships to students attending Bay Area Catholic Schools.

This year's program is very similar. One $250 scholarship will be awarded to a student in grades K-5, and a second $250 award will be made to a student in grades 6-12. As with last year, you must have an immediate family member who is a member of Council #12423 to be eligible for the scholarship. Also, as with last year, the application includes an individual submission by the student.

The selection process is changing slightly -- instead of a random draw of the entries submitted, a committee from Council #12423 will review the submissions and determine the winners.

Applications can be downloaded here. You can also obtain an application from the St. Stan's parish office. Deadline for submission is April 13th.
