At our February Meeting, the Council voted to establish the St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Education Scholarship Program. The purpose of the scholarship program is to promote Catholic Education through the awarding of scholarships to students in grades K-12 who attend Catholic Schools. Initial funding for the scholarship program comes from donations received through our Tree of Life fundraiser.
For the 2011-2012 School Year, two $250 scholarships will be awarded: one for students in grades K-5, and one for students in grades 6-12.
To be eligible for consideration, students must have a family member who is a member of Council #12423 in good standing. As a reminder, membership in Council #12423 is open to all practical Catholic gentlemen age 18 or older, so there should be no barriers to eligibility!
